NEW WORKING AT HEIGHT REGULATIONS (WAHR) 2005
New Working At Height Regulations, (WAHR), and legislation is due to come into force during 2005.
The British Ladder Manufacturers Association, (BLMA), has produced a Working At Height Regulations, (WAHR), document
in consultation with the Health and Safety Executive, (HSE) and the Department of Trade and Industry, (DTI),
and the British Standards Institution, (BSI), to assist in the understanding of how the new legislation
will affect the use of ladders. Further, the HSE will be producing more guidance on ladders later this
year as part of the general guidance on the Work at Height Regulations.
Many of the points in the New Working At Height Regulations do not change from current legislation however Risk Assessment Guidelines forms are available on request. Please contact us for further information.
For further details on this legislation please refer to Ladders & Working At Height Regulations at the Ladders-Direct website.
