Ladder Week
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are launching an initiative to promote safe use on ladders.
 Commencing on 14 November, the initiative will host a range of events when HSE inspectors will work
with ladder users and their employees, look at the current use of ladders and suggest sensible measures.
During ladder week, 14-18 November, each HSE office is organising its own events offering practical
demonstrations of alternative equipment and breakfast meetings with employers and health and safety professionals.
As part of this initiative the HSE are publishing free guides to help raise awareness of the risks associated
with ladder use and giving advice how to use them safely.
