Don't be a Ladder Lightweight!

The Clow Group Ltd., as members of the Ladder Association, are supporting the Association's new campaign "Don't be a Ladder Lightweight" running from April 7th 2010 to June 30th 2010.

This campaign is designed to highlight training as a key factor in improving ladder safety and best practice in the workplace.

Training is also significant in ensuring that ladder operatives are competent as required by the Working At Height Regulations.

Ladders, with around 2 million ladders in daily use, remain invaluable, flexible and ideal pieces of workplace access equipment. Despite their prevalent use, ladder use should not be taken for granted. All operatives, including users, managers and supervisors, should be aware of the correct and safe procedures involved in using ladders safely.
