HSE Ladder Exchange Initiative 2009

Supported by the Clow Group Ltd, the HSE's 2009 Ladder Exchange Intiative, was launched in Liverpool today by Big Brother star Craig Philips.

Designed to promote ladder safety this campaign encorages users to part exchange any bent or broken ladders with partner organisations such as the Clow Group Ltd.

Craig highlighted the need for health and safety precautions in the work place... "To be a winner in the construction industry you have to take health and safety seriously... If you take a chance with dodgy ladders you are risking your life... So many of these accidents are avoidable and having safe equipment makes a huge difference. That’s why I think the ladder exchange is such a great idea”
