Clow Group was commissioned to undertake the design, fabrication and installation of a complete roof access system at Waverley Station, Edinburgh.
Mobile Safety Cage and integrated safety
track designed and supplied by the Clow Group
To avoid installation of a handrail system, Clow Group installed
the Mobile Safety Cage system, which runs smoothly along the safety
track, allowing the operative to traverse the roof safely and quickly.
Additional features of the roof access system include walkways,
rolling gantry ladders, safety cages and safety track

The roof access system designed for Waverley Station had to be
unobtrusive as the glazed roof could be seen from Princes Street
and the nearby North Bridge.
