Roof Handrail System at Novartis, Hull
Novartis, as one of Europe's largest pharmaceutical drugs manufacturers, the maintenance of their distribution centre roof in Hull was of vital importance.
The Clow Group were commissioned to provide a complete system to allow speedy and safe access to all parts of the roof fabric.
Together with additional 18 metre external vertical ladders, a freestanding handrail was designed to protect operatives when working adjacent to some of the roof edges.
The handrail was freestanding , and did not compromise the integrity of the roof sheets, maintaining the lengthy warranty provided by the roof installer.
